Eric Kutinsky

Principal

Eric Kutinsky is a principal partner of Equity Solutions USA. Mr. Kutinsky is responsible for and heads up the Legal Department. He focuses his practice on Contract Negotiations and State Compliance in all 50 States as Equity Solutions USA is Licensed Nationwide. Equity Solutions USA has grown exponentially since Mr. Kutinsky has been on the Executive Management team.

Mr. Kutinsky has devoted his entire career, over 20 years, to helping others. Prior to starting Equity Solutions USA, Mr. Kutinsky’s law practice mostly consisted of Criminal Defense work where he was able to defend people’s Personal Freedoms and Constitutional Rights.

After graduation from The University of Michigan, Mr. Kutinsky went on to Law School. Upon receiving his Juris Doctorate from Western Michigan – Thomas Cooley School of Law, Mr. Kutinsky served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Wendy Potts at the Sixth Circuit Court in Oakland County, Michigan. In 2000, he opened his own Law Firm located in West Bloomfield, MI. In 2020, Mr. Kutinsky received his Real Estate License. He is an agent for buying & selling of mostly residential property.

Rick Davis

President and Chief Appraiser

Rick Davis is the President at Equity Solutions USA. Rick is responsible for designing and implementing business strategies, plans and procedures to ensure compliance with all industry guidelines. In addition, he is responsible for overseeing a collaboration between industry partners and implementing technology to provide an additional suite of valuation products. Rick has twenty years of appraisal experience and twenty-eight years of broad real estate, financial and technology experience.

Prior to joining Equity, Rick worked for US Bank for almost 12 years. He was initially responsible for developing, testing and implementing policy as it relates to collateral as well as managing a team and process to ensure compliance with policy. In addition, Rick helped consolidate all the valuation functions in the bank to form one universal process.

Jim brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role, driving growth and fostering strategic partnerships within the industry, while maintaining the highest standards for Equity in their technology and overall processes. Throughout his career, Jim has cultivated a reputation for integrity, reliability, and a steadfast dedication to client satisfaction. His dedication to excellence and relentless pursuit of success have earned him a reputation as a trusted leader and strategic advisor. With a passion for innovation and commitment to driving results, Jim is known for his vision and ability to deliver tangible results and value to both clients and stakeholders alike. Steve Gasso

Director of Client Services

Steve is a devoted family man to his wife Merna and their three children, Jade, Sage, and Jax. He prioritizes family above all else, relishing every moment spent creating memories and sharing experiences. As the Director of Client Experience at Equity Solutions USA, a nationwide Appraisal Management Company, He leverages his 15-year tenure to drive his success. Steve grew up in West Bloomfield and graduated from Brother Rice High School and Wayne State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance. He also holds a Project Management Certificate (PMP), underscoring his aptitude for efficient and effective project leadership. Steve’s overarching life goal is to foster positive change within his community and beyond knowledge and remain at the forefront of industry trends.

James Henley

Director of IT / Sales Coordinator

James is a proud & devoted family man to his partner Elizabeth, father to his two boys Dylan & Jacob, & stepdad to his three daughters Ashley, Gabby, & Lily. He has been a leader in the IT for over 25 years. He received his bachelor’s degree from Sacramento State University in Computer Science and also has a minor is System Engineering. James has also been certified in many IT related fields by receiving his MCSE, MCA, A+, Net + & 70-282 small business certifications. He has worked in the Appraisal industry for over 10 years leading some of the biggest AMC in our field. His focus with Equity Solutions is maintaining and improving our Compliance, Security, and IT growth across the industry.

Ryan Laduke

Controller

Ryan is the Controller at Equity Solutions USA. Ryan is responsible for guiding the company’s financial decisions, identifying industry trends, and ensuring the validity of the company books. Graduating from University of Michigan with a Bachelor’s Degree in both Finance and Accounting, Ryan strives to add his hybrid knowledge of both to the company. With a decade of experience, Ryan excels at creative and complex problem solving, team building, and time management. Ryan’s goals for Equity are to streamline all financial processes, maximize the company’s efficiency, and bring with it unprecedented growth.

Karen Bogart

Director of Operations

Karen has over 15 years in the appraisal industry. Karen’s journey began as an account specialist 9 years ago and has been marked by a commitment to excellent customer service. Amidst the evolving industry dynamics, she has adapted strategies and fostered relationships to uphold the company’s reputations for reliability and excellent service. Karen plays a pivotal role in the day-to-day activities of operations and takes great pride in the excellent service Equity Solutions provides.

With over 18 years of dedicated experience as a real estate appraiser, Rick has honed his expertise in providing accurate and reliable valuations. His extensive work with various Appraisal Management Companies (AMCs) has equipped him with a deep understanding of the industry’s dynamic structure and the ability to adapt to its evolving nature.

Jacob Eland

Director of Product Development

As a husband and father, Jacob considers himself incredibly fortunate. His wife, Nicole, is his rock and constant inspiration, and is immensely proud of the life they have built together. Their greatest blessings are our five children: Rickey, Michael, Tate, Owen, and Anna Cate. Each of them brings their own unique light and joy into our home, and watching them grow, learn, and discover the world is the most rewarding adventure imaginable.

Jacob is a highly accomplished and experienced professional in the property valuation sector, with a career spanning over two decades. His journey began in the appraisal industry in 1997, leading to him becoming a Licensed Real Estate Appraiser from 2000 to 2008, where he honed his foundational expertise in property assessment. Jacob then dedicated eight impactful years to Fannie Mae, distinguishing himself as a recognized Subject Matter Expert (SME) for their groundbreaking Collateral Underwriter platform, playing a key role in advancing collateral risk management. His leadership continued as VP of Property Valuation at PennyMac, where he oversaw complex valuation operations. Most recently, Jacob served as the Director of Inspection at Land Gorilla, where he was instrumental in optimizing inspection protocols and ensuring robust property assessments, solidifying his reputation as a trusted authority in the field.

Margaret Buis

Director of Marketing

Margaret is a mother and a communicator with a background in digital marketing, community engagement, and strategic communication. She studied at Wayne State University and has worked with both community-focused organizations and national service providers, shaping a practical and thoughtful approach to messaging and brand development.

At Equity Solutions USA, she supports the company’s communication and brand direction. Her work includes maintaining a clear and consistent brand voice, developing resources for the sales team, and strengthening how the company presents its value to clients and partners

Margaret is committed to elevating the Equity brand through thoughtful storytelling, strong visual identity, and reliable execution. Her goal is to continue building a marketing foundation that reflects the professionalism, care, and collaborative spirit that define Equity Solutions USA.

Courtney Goulart

Client Experience Manager

With over 17 years of experience in the AMC and valuation industry, I have dedicated my career to delivering exceptional customer service. Guided by the golden rule—treating others as I would like to be treated—I strive to create memorable experiences that keep clients returning time and again. My approach is always client-focused, optimizing every interaction to ensure satisfaction and build lasting relationships.

Originally from a small town about 40 minutes north of Boston, Massachusetts, I cherish my roots and the values they instilled in me. I have been happily married for 25 years and am the proud parent of three wonderful children, ages 25, 23, and almost 4. Outside of work, I love spending quality time with my family, enjoying the outdoors through boating and camping, and indulging my passion for travel and discovering new places. I’m also an avid concert goer with a deep appreciation for all genres of music.

Balancing professional dedication and personal joy, I strive every day to create positive, lasting connections—at work, at home, and everywhere life takes me.

Sandra Rose

QC Review Manager

Sandra Rose brings over 25 years of experience in the real estate appraisal industry. She is a Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser with extensive expertise in appraisal review, compliance and quality control management.

Sandra has spent more than 15 years in the Appraisal Management industry, where  she has developed a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and secondary market guidelines, and best practices for appraisal oversight.

In her current role ,Sandra is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Quality Control Department. She oversees appraisal reviews, ensures compliance with USPAP and agency guidelines while ensuring compliance and consistency across appraisal reports.

Kathy Hardy

Director of Human Resources

Kathy Hardy holds a Master of Business Administration and brings more than 20 years of experience in accounting, financial management, and business operations. Her expertise spans accounting, financial analysis, strategic planning, payroll administration, benefits administration, and human resources. As a licensed real estate professional, she also offers valuable industry insight that complements Equity Solutions’ work and enhances her understanding of client and business needs.

While her experience encompasses a wide range of financial and administrative disciplines, her primary focus at Equity Solutions is Human Resources. She is passionate about fostering a positive workplace environment, supporting employees, and ensuring the effective administration of payroll and benefits programs. Her unique combination of financial expertise and HR leadership allows her to drive organizational growth while cultivating a positive workplace culture and employee experience.
