Executive Leadership

Rick Davis

President

Rick Davis is the President at Equity Solutions USA. Rick is responsible for designing and implementing business strategies, plans and procedures to ensure compliance with all industry guidelines. In addition, he is responsible for overseeing a collaboration between industry partners and implementing technology to provide an additional suite of valuation products. Rick has twenty years of appraisal experience and twenty-eight years of broad real estate, financial and technology experience.

Prior to joining Equity, Rick worked for US Bank for almost 12 years. He was initially responsible for developing, testing and implementing policy as it relates to collateral as well as managing a team and process to ensure compliance with policy. In addition, Rick helped consolidate all the valuation functions in the bank to form one universal process.

Eric Kutinsky

Principal

Eric Kutinsky is a principal partner of Equity Solutions USA. Mr. Kutinsky is responsible for and heads up the Legal Department. He focuses his practice on Contract Negotiations and State Compliance in all 50 States as Equity Solutions USA is Licensed Nationwide. Equity Solutions USA has grown exponentially since Mr. Kutinsky has been on the Executive Management team.

Mr. Kutinsky has devoted his entire career, over 20 years, to helping others. Prior to starting Equity Solutions USA, Mr. Kutinsky’s law practice mostly consisted of Criminal Defense work where he was able to defend people’s Personal Freedoms and Constitutional Rights.

After graduation from The University of Michigan, Mr. Kutinsky went on to Law School. Upon receiving his Juris Doctorate from Western Michigan – Thomas Cooley School of Law, Mr. Kutinsky served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Wendy Potts at the Sixth Circuit Court in Oakland County, Michigan. In 2000, he opened his own Law Firm located in West Bloomfield, MI. In 2020, Mr. Kutinsky received his Real Estate License. He is an agent for buying & selling of mostly residential property.

Jim Wilzer

Director of Business Development

Jim Wilzer is the Director of Business Development at Equity Solutions USA.   Jim is a seasoned professional with over 30+ years of experience in all aspects of the real estate lending field.  Jim brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role, driving growth and fostering strategic partnerships within the industry, while maintaining the highest standards for Equity in their technology and overall processes.  Throughout his career, Jim has cultivated a reputation for integrity, reliability, and a steadfast dedication to client satisfaction.  His dedication to excellence and relentless pursuit of success have earned him a reputation as a trusted leader and strategic advisor.  With a passion for innovation and commitment to driving results, Jim is known for his vision and ability to deliver tangible results and value to both clients and stakeholders alike.  He thrives in dynamic environments, where his strong commitment and collaborative approach enable him to effectively lead teams and drive business growth.

Steve Gasso

Director of Client Experience

Steve is a devoted family man to his wife Merna and their three children, Jade, Sage, and Jax. He prioritizes family above all else, relishing every moment spent creating memories and sharing experiences. As the Director of Client Experience at Equity Solutions USA, a nationwide Appraisal Management Company, He leverages his 15-year tenure to drive his success. Steve grew up in West Bloomfield and graduated from Brother Rice High School and Wayne State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance. He also holds a Project Management Certificate (PMP), underscoring his aptitude for efficient and effective project leadership. Steve’s overarching life goal is to foster positive change within his community and beyond knowledge and remain at the forefront of industry trends.

James Henley

Director of IT

James is a proud & devoted family man to his partner Elizabeth, father to his two boys Dylan & Jacob, & stepdad to his three daughters Ashley, Gabby, & Lily. He has been a leader in the IT for over 25 years. He received his bachelor’s degree from Sacramento State University in Computer Science and also has a minor is System Engineering. James has also been certified in many IT related fields by receiving his MCSE, MCA, A+, Net + & 70-282 small business certifications. He has worked in the Appraisal industry for over 10 years leading some of the biggest AMC in our field. His focus with Equity Solutions is maintaining and improving our Compliance, Security, and IT growth across the industry.  

Ryan Laduke

Controller

Ryan is the Controller at Equity Solutions USA. Ryan is responsible for guiding the company’s financial decisions, identifying industry trends, and ensuring the validity of the company books. Graduating from University of Michigan with a Bachelor’s Degree in both Finance and Accounting, Ryan strives to add his hybrid knowledge of both to the company. With a decade of experience, Ryan excels at creative and complex problem solving, team building, and time management. Ryan’s goals for Equity are to streamline all financial processes, maximize the company’s efficiency, and bring with it unprecedented growth.

Karen Bogart

Director of Operations

Karen has over 15 years in the appraisal industry. Karen’s journey began as an account specialist 9 years ago and has been marked by a commitment to excellent customer service. Amidst the evolving industry dynamics, she has adapted strategies and fostered relationships to uphold the company’s reputations for reliability and excellent service. Karen plays a pivotal role in the day-to-day activities of operations and takes great pride in the excellent service Equity Solutions provides.

Rick Kobzeff

Director of Client Experience

With over 18 years of dedicated experience as a real estate appraiser, Rick has honed his expertise in providing accurate and reliable valuations. His extensive work with various Appraisal Management Companies (AMCs) has equipped him with a deep understanding of the industry’s dynamic structure and the ability to adapt to its evolving nature.
